Indexing & Discovery Readiness

A factual status page for IJCI identifiers, metadata exchange, discovery infrastructure, and external indexing. Technical readiness is not the same as acceptance by an external index.

IJCI does not present an identifier, preservation service, database listing, or indexing relationship as active until it is formally verified. External services control their own eligibility, review, and inclusion timelines.

Identifiers

Persistent journal/article identifiers are displayed only after formal assignment.

ISSN / eISSN

No ISSN or eISSN is displayed until formally assigned.

External / pending

DOI / Crossref

Crossref deposit generation is implemented using schema 5.5.0; DOI registration remains unavailable until a verified DOI prefix/account is active.

Technically ready

ORCID

ORCID identifiers are normalized and exposed when authors provide them; an ORCID is not invented when absent.

External indexes & preservation

These statuses describe third-party relationships. No inclusion is implied by technical readiness.

Google Scholar

IJCI provides crawlable scholarly metadata and article/PDF surfaces. Inclusion and timing are controlled by Google and are not claimed by IJCI.

External / pending

DOAJ

Technical and policy readiness can be prepared, but inclusion requires an external DOAJ application and approval.

External / pending

PubMed / MEDLINE

IJCI does not claim PubMed or MEDLINE indexing. Any future inclusion requires the applicable external evaluation and acceptance process.

External / pending

Scopus

IJCI does not claim Scopus indexing. Inclusion requires external evaluation by the provider.

Web of Science

IJCI does not claim Web of Science indexing. Inclusion requires external evaluation by the provider.

Independent preservation

IJCI is establishing independent long-term preservation with a recognized third-party preservation service. Until such participation is formally active, IJCI does not claim preservation through LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, Portico, PubMed Central, or another external archive.
