International Journal of Clinical Innovation (IJCI) is owned and independently self-published by Juan Pablo Dugarte. It is not an official publication of the University of Southern California or any other academic institution.

Editorial correspondence is handled at editorial@ijcinnovation.org. Use of this site does not create an employment, agency, institutional, physician-patient, attorney-client, fiduciary, or other professional relationship with IJCI, its editors, reviewers, contributors, or affiliated institutions.

These terms are subject to applicable law. IJCI does not state a governing-law jurisdiction, registered-company status, legal-entity number, or postal address on this page unless and until that information is formally verified and adopted.

Articles, videos, policies, educational materials, and other content are provided for scholarly and informational purposes. They are not a substitute for individualized medical evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, emergency care, or professional clinical judgment. Readers remain responsible for verifying information and applying it appropriately to their circumstances.

Users must provide accurate information, protect account credentials, and use portal access only for the role for which it was granted. Submission of a manuscript or application does not guarantee external review, acceptance, publication, appointment, reviewer assignments, indexing, metrics, or continued service.

Authors remain responsible for the accuracy, originality, authorship, permissions, research ethics, consent, disclosures, data statements, and lawful submission of material they provide. Reviewers and editors remain bound by confidentiality, conflict-of-interest, peer-review, research-integrity, and AI-use requirements described in IJCI policies.

Users may not misrepresent manuscript status, editorial appointment, reviewer service, indexing status, journal metrics, or endorsement by IJCI or by another institution.

Website design, branding, policy text, software interfaces, and other non-article site material are protected as applicable and may not be copied or presented in a misleading manner or used to imply endorsement.

Authors retain copyright in published scholarly articles unless an individual Version of Record states otherwise. IJCI's standard scholarly open-access license is Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). Reuse must comply with the license, including attribution and indication of changes where required.

A person who believes material available through IJCI infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or another intellectual-property right may send a good-faith notice to editorial@ijcinnovation.org. The notice should identify the protected work or right, the material at issue and its location, the basis of the claim, and reliable contact information.

IJCI may request supporting documentation, notify the affected contributor, temporarily restrict access when reasonably necessary, and consider a response or counter-evidence before determining appropriate action. This process is not represented as a registered DMCA-agent procedure unless such registration is separately established.

Do not attempt to bypass authentication, access confidential manuscripts or personal data without authorization, interfere with journal systems, upload malicious content, impersonate another person, scrape protected portal data, misuse reviewer identities, manipulate peer review, submit deceptive information, or use IJCI branding to make false claims about appointment, indexing, endorsement, acceptance, publication, or metrics.

IJCI may link to DOI resolvers, ORCID, repositories, file-sharing platforms, social networks, research profiles, citation databases, or other third-party services. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. A link, metadata connection, or technical integration does not by itself constitute endorsement, indexing, membership, accreditation, or certification.

IJCI may modify, correct, suspend, or discontinue website functions when necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, editorial integrity, or operational reasons. No guarantee is made that every page, file, external integration, or portal will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

Published scholarly records are handled under IJCI's correction, expression-of-concern, retraction, versioning, and exceptional-removal policies rather than being silently altered. Users should retain appropriate copies of manuscripts, reviews, correspondence, source data, and permissions.

Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy. Essential authentication, security, session, preference, and reliability technologies may be used by journal infrastructure. IJCI does not currently sell personal information or use journal-account data for cross-site behavioral advertising.

IJCI does not guarantee inclusion in Google Scholar, DOAJ, Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, MEDLINE, PubMed Central, Crossref, or another external service. Eligibility, evaluation, indexing, identifier assignment, preservation participation, and timing are controlled by the relevant third party.

ISSNs, DOIs, preservation services, impact metrics, indexing badges, memberships, and other external credentials are displayed only after IJCI has verified that they are formally active.
